FOOD BANK AND RED BARREL Donate food and volunteer hours to pick up food at donation site and deliver to DMARC. HELP AMERICA READ Donate money, books and volunteer hours at Capitol View and Findley Elementary Schools to assist others in improving reading, speaking and other human skills of their students. HOBY YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM Donate funds annually to an approved High School sophomore to improve their leadership skills and a challenge to do 100 hours of service. IODINE DEFICIENCY DISORDER (IDD) Donate funds to eliminate iodine deficiency (swollen throats or goiter) and mental disorder in children of undeveloped nations. MIRACLE NETWORK Donate funds with other Kiwanis Clubs to support three special care hospitals in Iowa for children care. NATURE ISLAND Donate funds and volunteer hours with other Kiwanis Clubs to provide a site for nature and environment study for children and the preservation of the environment. PANCAKE FESTIVAL Provide funds and volunteer hours with other Kiwanis Clubs to enrich the lives of hundreds of children who require special services. LINK ASSOCIATES Administrate and provide the service for handicapped children. ROAD TO RECOVERY Donate volunteer hours with vehicles to drive cancer patients to treatment centers as transportation is requested by the American Cancer Society. SALVATION ARMY Provide volunteer hours to ring bells to solicit donations for Salvation Army Kettles during the Christmas Season. SPECIAL OLYMPICS Donate hours to the Special Olympics Games for special needs children who participate in the games. Assist games officials in the running of the Games. YMCA YOUTH CAMPS Provide funds to send selected children who need assistance to youth camp.
