Bulletin Board

1. Members are requested to remain seated at the end of each program until the President has an opportunity to thank the speaker and present the complimentary Kiwanis pen.
2. The monthly Golden K Newsletter is published regularly on our Golden K Web site at www.desmoinesgoldenk.org .  Any member with a computer and internet access can view the newsletter on this web site at any time.  If you would prefer to receive your newsletter via the internet, just advise our Secretary, Virginia Burmeister.  Virginia will remove your name from the list of members to receive newsletters via U.S. Mail, the club will eliminate a portion of our regular postage expense and your information will be available at the speed of light or, at least, at the speed of electricity.

Notes of Interest

• Entertainment Books are for sale. They are a great bargain at $20.00! They make good Christmas gifts. (Coming sooner than you think.) There are over $12,000.00 worth of savings in each book. Hy-Vee has $20.00 worth of coupons on the first page alone!
• All members are urged to invite guests to attend one or more of our meetings and enjoy the outstanding programs. Then if your guest is favorably inclined, invite him or her to become a member. You will be doing your guest and our club a big favor. They won't come if you don't ask!
