1.
At our 2011 Christmas party, 109 Golden K members and guests enjoyed
a delicious meal at the Drake Olmsted Center and were treated
to a wonderful musical program featuring vocalist
Carol
Palmer accompanied by pianist Jessica Anderson. The evening
ended with an appearance by Santa who sounded strangely similar
to our own Bob Smyth. Thanks to Florence
Buhr and
Don
Neumann for planning and presenting an outstanding Christmas
party. Also, thanks to all Golden K members that assisted
in various areas to help make the party a smooth-running and successful
evening for our members and guests.
2.
A new member orientation program is being planned for January
2012. The specific date and rogram schedule will be announced
in early January. All new club members are invited as well
as any "older" members that have in interest in refreshing
their memories concerning our club activities and the Kiwanis
organization.
